Aloe vera is a very moisturizing ingredient. Add a tablespoon of aloe vera to a teaspoon of honey and a teaspoon of melted coconut oil. Mix well together, add a thick layer to the face and leave on for 10-15 minutes. Rinse well and moisturize as normal. Repeat once a week for soft, supple and hydrated skin with a youthful glow.
Keep aloe vera in the fridge and apply a thin layer on the face after sun exposure, or morning and evening for a light, oil-free moisture quench. It can also be used all over the body as an after-sun during summer months to calm any burns or tenderness.
